Cooking So Easy With Bunkie If our little Bunkie can cook this delicious garlic pasta sauce in 10-minutes so can you! The secret to this sauce is the ingredients. We use 8 cloves of frozen garlic and our homemade San Marzano canned tomatoes. In the video we did a 1 quart jar of sauce to 1 lb of pasta. Although this works well with short noodles we recommend using only about 3/4 pound of spaghetti to 1 quart of sauce.
1-Quart Stewed Tomatoes
8-Cubes Frozen Garlic or Garlic Cloves
1-Sprig of Basil (included in our jarred tomatoes)
3/4 lbs - Spaghetti
Boil Water; Add a little salt and oil to help with cooking. We use sea salt and olive oil.
Coat sauce pan with oil, add garlic and simmer for 3-4 minutes.
Add paste as water begins to boil.
Add tomatoes to oil and garlic mixture and continue to simmer.
When past is ready (sticks to wall), strain away water.
Add sauce immediately (to prevent sticking) to drained noodles and stir.
Add choice of toppings such as steamed broccoli or meatballs.
Serve and enjoy!
